Shelby Cobra inspired Driving Shoe

Remember the days when you bought a pair of shoes and they lasted longer than your subscription to Pla... er, TV Guide? You can re-live those days by getting a pair of very comfortable, very reliable a2z Racer Shoes. I've been wearing mine daily for over a year with fantastic results and comfort.
A definite advantage to being director of a performance driving school is really a level of credibility you are able to establish with automotive related item manufacturers.

two years and still road worthy!
It also helps to have an international race champion design the shoe. Tony a-2-z Adamowicz has raced in F5000, 24hrs Daytona and Le Mans and knows a thing or two about reliable, worthwile equipment

(You can read more about performance pedal work by referencing this heel and toe article )

I have another pair of competition driving shoes I wear and I sized them up with my a2z driving shoes. I also did a comparison with my daily walking shoes.

This is what the blue Shelby Cobra Driving Running shoe appears like before I even tried them on.
I have to say that I just like the way the shoes look, even when they're old; like an old pair of converse, back in the day. With all the little Shelby Cobra touches going into the design of the shoe (the blue one is actually 'Shelby Blue'), you'd think that the driving shoe' was more flash than performer. However, these shoes fit great and deliver in performance as well. Even when I wore them with my Steve McQueen Leather Jacket (hey, it was cold) The questions would be about the shoes. I never knew it was 'about the shoes'. Closer inspection usually inspired more reaction. Especially when I told them how long I had owned them. All of the shoes from a2z racer gear come with an excellent leather lined sole that shapes itself to your foot.

The Inner Sole of the Shelby Cobra Footwear is padded with Leather, so it adjusts to your foot after a quick break-in period.

I had thin soles in my previous driving shoes, but they didn't feel good when walking in them. The Shelby driving shoes changed all of that. Reality was, that, in addition to letting me walk in them all day, the cushion sole really enhanced the pedal feel. Comfort, style, quality, these a2z driving shoes have that, even now, after two years! Both the tongue and heel sections are lined with nice, pliable leather. Check your own shoes, see how the're separating between the soles and uppers after wear. Two years and abuse and these Shelby shoes still hold together firm. One with the most interesting features was a molded heel compartment that, unlike my casual driving style shoe, keeps your heel from wobbling when driving or standing.

The Tire Tread outer sole of the Shelby Driving shoe is really cool.  They're grippy, too.
I wore the Shelby shoes for walking and driving 10 to 12 hours a day, an average of 3 days a week for nearly two months. I found firm contact with the pedals and the floor thanks to the tire-styled outer-sole with white stripes down the lenght. For the test period, there was very little wear. They're suede leather, but cleaned up nicely with a brush and cloth with a bit of moisture. They have several colors and styles to choose from, even some Mustang mid-tops. Just go to a2z Racer Gear.
